Our Mission

"The American Legion Riders are a program of The American Legion that promotes the well-being of our nation's veterans through motorcycle-related activities, fundraising, and community service — upholding the ideals of The American Legion with pride and purpose on every ride."

The Riders of Post 569 in Milan, Illinois, embody the spirit of service on two wheels. Rooted in a Post chartered on August 14, 1920, we ride with the weight of history behind us and the determination to forge a better future for veterans, their families, and our community.

What We Do

Riding with Purpose

Legacy Rides

Organizing memorial rides and motorcycle escorts to honor fallen heroes, support veteran causes, and raise awareness for those who served. Every ride is a rolling tribute to service and sacrifice.

Fundraising

Raising funds through organized rides, charity events, and community gatherings to support The American Legion's programs — from veteran rehabilitation to children and youth services.

Veteran Advocacy

Using our visibility and unity to advocate for veterans' rights, benefits, and mental health resources. We ride not just for the open road, but for those who can no longer ride themselves.

Community Outreach

Partnering with local organizations in Milan and the Quad Cities to deliver aid, organize blood drives, support disaster relief efforts, and strengthen the bonds of community.
